NBC 9.27.3: Cladding Installation Standards

9.27.3.1. General. Cladding shall be installed in a manner that will prevent the entry of water into the building assembly.

9.27.3.2. Air Space. A drained and vented air space shall be provided behind the cladding where required to prevent moisture accumulation.

9.27.3.4. Fastening. Cladding shall be fastened to the framing members with corrosion-resistant fasteners at the prescribed spacing.
