NBC 9.39: Performance Compliance for Housing

9.39.1.1. Scope. This Section applies to the performance compliance path for housing and small buildings, allowing for alternative designs that meet the code's objectives.

9.39.2.1. Compliance. Compliance is achieved if the proposed design is demonstrated to provide a level of performance equivalent to the prescriptive requirements.
